The Oscar Wildes

Friday
July 18th at 7pm

Don’t Miss The Oscar Wildes in the IHC Pub!

The Oscar Wildes — Cincinnati’s Own Irish Folk/Punk Powerhouse!

Raise your glass and get ready to stomp your feet with The Oscar Wildes — the Irish folk/punk band bringing high-energy, whiskey-soaked anthems straight outta Cincinnati!

Scott Keirs (vox/gtr) is a solo artist in his own right, honing his craft in England until relocating to Cincinnati in ‘23. With family roots in Belfast, Scott brings the authentic sounds of his homeland to this exciting new band. Denise Saker (fiddle) has studied Irish music extensively, travelling abroad to learn her craft and is a staple at the Irish Heritage Center of Cincinnati. She also played for many years with The Lost Celts. Tom Millard (drums) also played with The Lost Celts, and is a veteran of the Cincy music scene. Rob Simpson (bass) played in Irish bands in NYC, before moving to Cincinnati in ‘18 and digging into the Cincy Music scene.

With rowdy rhythms, gritty guitars, and sing-along choruses, they deliver the perfect blend of Celtic soul and punk rock fire. Whether you're in it for the fiddle or the fury, this is a show you don’t want to miss!

Tickets are $20 for IHC Members and $25 for Non-Members.
